Oliver plow 360?

I picked this up on Craigslist a few days ago. Fellow had disassembled it to remove it from a fence row. From searching the internet I believe it is a 360 model. It needs a few things but id basically a sound unit. It was a pain to reassemble!

Iit is 3-14". There is a bracket and linkage on the left side of the 3 point mount. The linkage goes to a tab that is broken off and has been welded on numerous times by an amateur. I need to make a new tab for the plow side and cannot find a picture of what it looked like originally.

Does anybody know what this piece does? It lets the lower bar pivot but why? I assume it has something to do with leveling the plow but am not sure of the reasoning behind it.

360 Series plow! We sold a lot of them in 1963. I think you are talking about the J-bolt as it was called. I would get a parts book/operators manual from the museum in Charles city.
