Might be Buying a Tractor

Found this on CL this morning. MM G. Guy said it's got lots of blow-by but runs and starts fine. Missing lights but tires are good and match. Been sitting a lot so a good work-out might loosen the rings up. Asking $600. Going to load up my little family tomorrow and perhaps bring it home. It's about 2 and a half hours SW of me near Lisbon, ND.

Ok im going to as a stupid question. Close to my house there is a tractor sitting and its been there for several years and it looks like the one in your link. The only difference is this one close to me has a big tank on the driver side looks to be like right behind the motor but on the outside of the frame could this be a fuel tank or maybe a propane tank. Ive always wanted to stop and get closer to it but just havent.
 
Nice looking original. I would grab it for that price. My dad used to have a 1949 GTB. Wish we still had it.
 
You can't really go wrong on a running tractor with tires that hold air! I've paid more than that for some that were in much worse condition.
 
Air compressor?? Do you mean like it has a air starter like some older tractor trailers or the tractor is a rolling air compressor. Im going to stop and ask if i can walk up to it to see just what it is. It has my curiosity up now.
