It's not an 8N, either. Looks to be a 9 or 2N. I would think first gear in one of those would be a little high for planes.
 
They don't show the rear end, lack of 3pt is the dead end of those, what's the point of a tractor that old without a 3pt.

Dont they have some form of hi/Lo, a Sherman or something for slow speeds?

when it was new, it would probly have worked for no bigger than the planes were of that day. def a 9N/2N by the 3 speed trans, doesnt look like its got a auxillary trans. i would guess that when time went by and the planes got too big for it, it got used for luggage carts. not sure what use it would have in this day.
 

Anyone catch the rubber fuel line running right over the exhaust manifold? A fire waiting to happen.
