Tractor value???

A customer emailed me asking what this tractor is worth. Her husband died in January and she needs to sell it. I assume it is just a regular C?? They seem to be priced pretty high on TractorHouse, and that is with no weights and a narrow front. She says it runs good.

Yes, it is just a C.

I would LOVE to own it.

I sold mine (sadly) about 2 months ago, in a little better shape than that, with good rear tires, weights, and a FLAWLESS Wide Front for $800, and I think that was "fair" for both parties, I was asking $1000.

They are a killer good tractor, for being a little guy. I think that is a $500-700 machine...

I would give $300 for it RIGHT now!! :)

Hope that helps... Bryce

Yep! You are right! I was thinking it was the other way around... Here is my C, with a straight pedal:

And my Super C with the curved pedal...

Super C , looks like inner and outer frt weights, never seen that before, they're worth some money, nice grill, wide frt. Haven't paid any attention to e bay for a few years but I think the frt weights were going for about $200 a set, the grill might go 400 if it's as nice as it looks and people give crazy money for them hard steering wide frts.

$1000-1200. tires don't add to value. the weights and wide front are generally pluses, though the wf takes a half acre to turn around. tin looks straight. no fast hitch.

Pretty clean old gal,the wide tires on the back and mud grips hurts its value but someone
fixing it up would replace them anyway. If I had here I'd be looking for around $2000-$2500 price it up or down from that depending on how quickly I'd want to sell it.

Super C
$1000-$1500 here in the condition it's in.

If I was buying.....I might go to the 1500 to get it.
nice tractor. equipped good.

If I owned it, I wouldn't sell, but if
I had to....it would take $2000 to get it away from me..
as it sits.
Tuned up, cleaned up, prettied up.....far more.
Again, that looks like a nice tractor....don't give it away.

co worker bought 1 like it without the front weights--from the original owners brother gave $500.00 for it, tires were replaced about 10 years ago, they look new. It runs good.

I gave $850 for mine in 1992 and the sheet metal wasn't in that nice of condition. Middle steering shaft bearing is on upside down and kind of looks like the rear weight is inside out on the one pictured. Those are really a handy tractor, we had a new 1953 with fasthitch with a sickle mower, rear blade, loader, planter, cultivator and 2 bottom plow. The only thing it didn't wear out was the plow but wore out 2 or 3 loaders. Started to collect implements for mine but they're hard to find.

$500.00 as soon as it is demonstrated to start and run. Auctioneer would make that as a minimum/start bid, what happens afterwards depends on bidders but $1000.00 plus wouldn't surprise me. Couple points to counter the faded paint- that looks like a 12 volt alternator rig at side and the lights look clear and clean, front tire lined up good with backs so might have been a 'working' tractor until owner died, might have been the 'garden plow' tractor also. Any implements that it used like a set of cultivators for garden? Loader? Even as a wagon hauler it would be useful and lots of Little Genius plows around for garden work. RN

Tires DO add value, if they are good, and detract from the value if they are bad. Those rears look rotten and the fronts are old truck tires, so no value added for the tires here.

You're looking at <$1000 for that tractor as it sits even if it runs.
