Vale of Rheidol narrow gauge preserved railway runs 11.5 miles from Aberystwyth on mid-Wales coast up to Devils Bridge 700 feet above sea level, trip takes 1 hour. Originally a railway to haul timber & minerals down to the coast.

So you've been over here, yes it rains a LOT in Wales, thats why its so green. :roll:

Were you touring around or do you have relations in Wales?
How did you get on with the narrow roads, mountains and the Welsh language?
 
WIZZO, that reminds me of watching "Thomas the Tank Engine" with my little boy (who's 23 now!).

Are you sure that isn't the Isle of Sodor? :wink:
