Farmall 340 Diesel

New to Diesel tractors & I want to know if I can run straight vegetable oil in a Farmall. I heard you can with little or no modification to the tractor. I heard there are some tractor 'Gurus' on this forum...

Bio will loosen years and years of crud. Ran full tank of bio 2 years ago in large gleaner. After 3 sets of filters finally got it to run well. Not worth it IMHO.

Minnesota has 5% Bio blend (regulation) few issues other than warranty and normal blame to go around. I would not use higher blends than that. Jim
