4 wheel small HF floor jacks

My experience with fixing any HF hydraulic or pneumatic(sp) is can't. What I was told at the time was that the workers assembled them from a pile of parts so they would work but nothing was standard. That was maybe 15 years ago so maybe the Chinese have their act together these days.

All simple hydraulic jacks can be fixed if enough time and effort is put into it. They have two check valves and a bypass valve that lets it down. The first check valve lets the piston rod suck in oil. The second lets compressed oil into the lift cylinder, and keeps it in while lifted. Remember that your time is worth money and at some point the jack becomes a money pit. Jim

With enough money, anything mechanical can be fixed.
Do you want to spend a buncha money on a cheap jack that was built to be a thrown away when it quits wyrking?

Not worth fixing. Where I work at we do hyd cyls, pumps, jacks. At 75.00 an hr plus parts them jacks are not worth fixing. Get into argument with owner and sometimes customer every once a while over cost.

Good luck. When my cheapie floor jack went south, I couldn't find parts. So I went to NAPA and asked what's your best jack? Then I asked for a repair kit too. NO PARTS AVAILABLE. So I went back to HF and bought the same one that looked like the one at NAPA at a fraction the price.

My boy's jack stopped working. It was low on fluid.
