Allis Chalmers Snap Coupler Drawbar Update

Well went out and measured the drawbar on my snap coupler CA and its an EXACT match
(10" between the mounting arms,39 1/2 inches long) that Chris posted about yesterday.I checked and here are a list of other AC tractors snap coupler tractors I have here that the CA drawbar will NOT come close to fitting WD,WD45, D14,D15,D17,D19.My 3 D10 AC tractors are at another place about 40 miles away but am about 90% sure it'll fit them but the design for the D10,12 is slightly different from the CA drawbar.

When the fellow showed up he said he had a D10--I thought on the phone he'd said CA but I'm sure I was confused as we did talk about late model CA's having that style.

Traditional Farmer, Your correct on the dimensions of the drawbar he posted about. The thing is my drawbar is straight as well on my D-14. It does not have the wide cross support like I see in the pictures. I did not measure it with a rule but it is around 13-14 inches wide and 36 inches long. My brother has a D-15 and it has the narrower drawbar as well. Now both these tractors came from the same dealership and both came with new two row cultivators as well. Would the fact that they where ordered with the cultivators made the drawbar different????

JD seller I know on the D17 tractors the wide drawbar hanger was a option, not sure if the D15,D14 had that option as I have never saw either with the wide hanger.

D14 and early D15 tractors had the narrow bail (hanger). The bail arms have a curve at the top (where they mount) whereas the CA, D10 and D12 have straight arms like the original picture. I guess I need to start taking pictures of all the drawbars I have laying around here and identify them for you guys!
