I knew I forgot. The oil for a cub. 1977 would you go straight 30wt HD or a synthetic blend. I love the blend stuff in all of my garden tractors cause it keeps everything so clean! So how about a cub? What ya think?

10/30 or 15/40.Same as you run in everything else

If it is a K series Kohler, stick with straight 30 for air cooled engines. They like to use oil if a multi weight oil is used. Mine did when I ran 15W40 in my K341.

I run straight synthetic in everything I got. No matter what it is in, it reduces friction.

As long as regular oil is avaible I will not mess with synthetic.
