Case 731 3 point hitch

I recently purchased a 1967 case 731 diesel tractor. It had the eagle hitch removed at some point and a bucket put on the front.

Now that I have it I want to get it set up with a three point but can't seem to find any information anywhere.

So what I'm looking for is a three point hitch to put on my tractor.

I'm pretty sure you don't just buy one at the store and slap it on in five minutes, so I guess I'm looking for some plans to make one up for my rig.

I think it should be a category two hitch when it's done.

What do you guys think?

What parts do you need for a project like this?

If it really is a '67, I doubt it would have had the Eagle Hitch - I think EH was discontinued way before then. You should be able to find 3 pt parts from a salvage yard. Check with Fred Goodrich for a start.

That 730 should never had Eagle Hitch. Because EH was discontinued in 1963.

Thanks for the help guys I'll go ask in the case forum.

I got the idea it had an eagle hitch from the tractor data web site, though I see now that it also lists a category 2 three point for the tractor.
