Reminds me of a college boy farmer out east of town when I was a kid. He was reading a book while he was plowing and drove right through a fence at the end of the field.

Reminds me of neighbor boy ran the drag into the road ditch with the explanation, "Juanita leaned over"...Juanita, a very buxom lady, was picking rocks in the next field.

Reminds me of my elderly neighbor talk about plowing with a JD D (when that was the biggest thing around) in Nort Dakota when he was a kid. He fell asleep, and when he woke up, he had no idea where he was. So he turned around and followed his furrows back to where he strayed off course, and went back to plowing. Never did tell his dad, he said- he plowed out the evidence over the next few days.

Neighbor got drunk one night and took his tractor out to the field - except that he went on our land instead of his own. He had a hydraulic lift on the cultivator, so he kept raising and lower it while going around in our fields.

Dad got after him; he promised to pay damages - but he never did.
