Off to the field to do a little peg harrowing... How do you like the tilt deck? Just unhook it and it tilts!!

P.S. Notice my new toy in the background? :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

What ya got in the background? Super MTA with a FarmHand loader?
I think I'd want a couple more inches clearance between that
harrow and the ground if I was going far! :)

Hehehe, I actually slid it up on the trailer a little farther, had about 4 inches... .Maybe...

Only had 3/4 mile to go, all private, just took it easy!

That one is my newest addition, 1948 Farmall M, Schwartz Wide Front (off of a 400), Charlyn power steering.

Stuck engine and failed clutch, other than that, it is a pretty straight tractor.... Got the bucket off of it today, and am going to get the loader off of it tomorrow, and hopefully get it unstuck and ready to roll! :)

I try to live by the goal that every day is a good day... I try to not let negativity get to me, I am ALWAYS positive! :)

Proud to be the hooligan I am! Warms my heart that others think so to!

Thanks very much! Bryce

Laugh all you want! That is the BEEFIEST trailer I have ever seen (for it's size of course).

When my parents moved here 26 years ago, they bought a Honda TRX 200 at a yard sale, and it came with this trailer (haul the 4 wheeler on it, or pull it with the 4 wheeler)

Have had it ever since... When I was working at a farm up the road, for a "hey thanks" bonus, I was hauling home a load of fire wood with me every day (behind my Kawasaki Bayou 300 2wd).

One day, I weighed one of the rounds, 40 lbs. Did the math, and I had 1600 lbs of wood on that trailer!!! HOLY COW was that a load!!!

Never again will I haul that much, but it got it done no problem!!! :)

It was either this, or the 20 foot 10,000 GVW car trailer... This seemed appropriate...

Mom just shook her head when she saw it..... :)

The loader is a Farmhand F-10 series; looks like a somewhat newer one than the one I used in the 50's & 60's mounted on an H Farmall. It would lift over 20' with a full load of loose hay to be stacked. That was with a narrow front &/or a single wheel on the H. Carry the load close to the ground & you never have problems; when approaching the stack you came at it straight. Ran up & down those irrigated alfalfa fields in 5th gear as much as possible. Made "hay" while the sun shone!!

I keep my JD 709 Gyro Mower on an 8 x 10 Aluminum Tilt bed. Mower weighs about 1250 Lbs. Trailer rated at 2200. I can move it between farms without a tractor, tilt it down, back up to it, hook it up, & just have enough clearance to lift it off, & back on without trouble! + plus can move it around the barn without hooking up to anything. I sure wont Laugh at You!

Before you declare the engine stuck, pull the cover off the bottom of the case beyond the clutch and check the driveline. Had a fella tell me that the engine stuck on an H. I pulled the cover off the case and found the one bolt had come out of the driveline coupling link. Put the bolt back in place, installed a new nut and the engine turned right over.

The engine may be stuck, but check the driveline first.

Okay, will do!

The story behind this, is that it ran and drove to where it was, then sat about 7 years. BUT, he said that the clutch started doing some really weird things, and that it pretty much wasn't drivable. Messing with it now, the clutch pedal DOES move, but it feels really weird.

I plan on taking the loader off today, and starting our inspection! Thanks for the tip though, hadn't thought of that.... Thanks! Bryce
