High priced used tractors?

The YT photo ads are full of high $$$$$$$$$ tractors. The ads I saw were JD's such as a 4020 that the asking price was $95,000 & another standard HFWA at $55,000 & '72 4020 PS for $30,000. They were mostly HC's. All I can think of is "WOW" the economy must be great.

Yea Tx Jim take note of where they are at if you want one. That is where they will be setting a few years from now at that price. haha

Asking price means nothing and keep in mind the the real deals are gone before you ever see them unless you check quite often just like CL.
Thats why I like auctions as a price indicator what they go for is what someone is
willing to PAY.

Heard that a side console 3020 Diesel w/wide frt. brought $13,000 on a farm auction near here last week. Had new paint,rusted some on fenders.

Asking price and selling price can be quite different.

So what? Anyone can ask any amount for anything. There is no law saying anyone has to pay that price, and if they do, it's their problem.
