Looking at a John Deere zero turn Z445 2011 model with 76 hours. A couple little scratch's on the deck but other wise brand new. $3,000. Give me your opinion. Good, Bad, Price, Issues, Ect. Thanks

That is in the ball park on price. Just remember that the Z445 is a residential grade mower. Meaning the deck is lighter steel and the drives lighter too. It is NOT a heavy Duty Zero turn mower. Mowing a regular yard your good to go for a long time. If you have a larger rough yard than you will not get the life out of it you would a F600-700 series zero turn. So just make sure it is what your wanting.

Paid $4000 for one just like it in about 2009. It had 8 hours when a got it at the John Deere dealership: a lawn service guy tried it and decided to trade up. Since then I've beat the h--- out of it mowing my 17 acres. I use it like a small bush hog; that may not be the recommended approach, but it serves my purpose and does what I need, and if it tears up I'll get another of some kind. So far I've only had to replace two blade pedestals. It's tough as a boot. For $3000 I don't know where you'll get a better one.

Just sold my 2012. it had 81.6hrs and a 54in deck, with a briggs motor. got 3800 for it and had people standing in line to buy it. only thing your not going to like, is i hear they are a bugger to change oil on but i have no first hand experience (the briggs is real easy). i'm getting a new z465 and JD went back to kaw but made oil changing much easier. they had a 4 yr, 300hr warrenty.
