Well my good friend Jon F., the infomus pilot of the White Eagle, scheduled his 3rd anual spring visit here. Mother nature was very uncoperative, as far as maple sugaring is conserned. We have been frozen up now for a week. had to light maintainance fires in the evaporators to make sure they didn't freeze and split open. We had a brass valve from the storage tanks split open. Tanks were empty, but there was a bit of sap in a downstream valve. The spiles were dripping slowly, today, but no gathering of sap as the buckets had about 2qts of ice in them.
O-well it gave us cyber YT friends more time to chit chat, and no one went home with wet muddy pantlegs. HeHe.
In the pic. L-R Jay NY, his Dad and Jay's beautiful daughter, Jon F, and Formaly Bill NY, and the duff with one pant leg in and one out is me.
I had a great time, hope the rest of the gang did.
Loren, the Acg.

ACG guy, we had a great time, my daughter was a little impatient at times but she did great. It was really nice to meet Jon f, Bill, you and the misses! Thank you for asking us to come out there. I don't know if Jon liked me and my daughter taking his spot in Bills truck! Lol :) Thank you for everything.

Thanks for having me again Loren, I had a great day as always! Jay, your daughter was a sweety and very well behaved. You should be proud of her. Never heard a whimper from her and all she had to entertain her were a bunch of old men. Lol. Which spot in the truck was mine anyway? Very nice to meet all you folks!

Lol, thank you for the kind words about my daughter Jon! It was truly great to meet you. I hope to meet again too!

Jay, Beth thought your daughter was adorable. Did she name the purple critter that the wiffey gave her? It was great to meet and spend some time with you and your dad. We will have to get together again in the future at maybe the DD sometime in the not so distant future.

Bill, It was good to see you again. Did you deliver the spent spray tank or just head for home?
Jon called after he picked up his new load at Griffis industrial park in Rome. We might have to call him "Jon Pizino" He picked up a heavy trailer load of Olive oil and headed west.

Well don't forget to give yourself a pat on the back too. I watched you with her and you did a great job with her too. A lot of parents let their kids run and just say "well, they are just kids". You kept her both entertained and well behaved, and did it well in my book. Kudos to you too.

Glad to see you guys get together!!! We been doin a shin dig here in illinois for a couple years now. Maybe we gotta get a road trip out east and meet up you all!!!!

Thank you Jon, shes my world. As soon as we pulled into Pilot tonight for her to go back to her mom, I'm not kidding you, she asked dad and I, is Jon here! Lol she saw all the trucks! I said no I think he went west, but not sure. Take care. Be safe.

Yes Loren, when your wife asked her about a name, she told your wife I'm naming it purple! Lol, a lot of thought went into that! We look forward to coming out again, maybe seeing Jon and Bill again. DD would be fine some time too, but will be getting busy now. Thanks again.

loren, i delivered the tank, and by the time i got there, it was raining and about 35 degrees. you were right, it was over an hour hike to get there. they picked the tank off with forks, and i made it home around 6pm. temp stayed 34-36 the whole way.

its always fun to meet other tractor guys. good bunch. and jay's girl was very well behaved. nice to see how she warmed up to beth as time went by.

looks like you had a fine work crew there Loren ,, But Did You Get Much Done / Lol ,, Jon has Been here to the Tractor pull at Harrison County fair in 2013 ,, and I think bill Brought some ihc planter parts to me on the way out to RED POWER Roundup ,, we had dinner at the corydon craker barrel.. thanx for the visits and good will ,,.

Good time was had by all I suspect ! :) I had a pair of boots in the car already, it's definitely mud season. Will try to make the next one, my dad needed a hand today having an appointment at the VA. Been a very long time since I've been inside this particular one.

His visit with the VA was good, everything checked out, every single person working in that wing was a pleasure, very professional and nice. He's been through quite a bit over the years, nice to hear good news today.

Great to see a group shot of all attendees at the clinton camp farm !

hi jim, i been wondering for a while if those style posts were from you under a new handle. i brought you the planter parts in 2012 on the way to du quoin,il red power.
i always enjoy visiting with "old tractor" guys (as opposed to "old" tractor guys lol). yesterday was very much fun.

Wudda liked to stop by but had to work, we started a house renovation and I'm in charge.

I was thinking of crashing the party too(with permission of course). But when I looked at the distance, I decided to stay home. It's nearly a full time job trying to save my wheat from the geese right now!
