We have been running anhydrous and I was moving to a different farm when I slowed down for a intersection. I was in 8 hi throttled back while pulling the applicator an one single tank, when the transmission acted like it went into neutral. When I would try to shift to high range the tractor would try to move like the synchronizers are working, I just cant find the gear, All low range gears are working. So now I hove to gas in 4 hi instead of 5 and 5 hi and 6 hi on the road which is 10 mph, I thought maybe someone with expearance might know of an easy fix.

They were known to have trouble with the shift cable sticking/breaking/fraying.

Anything feel different when you move the Hi-Lo lever?

The cables were replaced 4 years ago because they got hard to shift. Its the range shifter on the dash, I have low, which is all the way forward, neutral, no high, and have reverse, all the way down.

I was thinking you meant the Hi-Lo lever to the right of the operator, which shifts a collar in the torque area.

Sounds like you may have shift fork or synchronizer issues on the transmission top shaft.

You can remove the steel cover over the transmission and have a look.

I suggest you post his on the DEERE-specific Board.
