I would say that is a fake. I have baled my share of snakes and other wildlife and they aren't generally tied on the outside of the bale. Sometimes half in and half out. Biggest thing I ever got was a hen turkey. Made enough of a mess that I was able to avoid baling her. Looked like something out of a horror movie. Blood and gore all up and down about 30 feet of swath.

I baled a small garter snake out time that was hanging about half out of the bale when I found it. About a foot of snake sticking out. I just threw the whole bale away at the edge of the field and let it rot.

I have run a skunk or 2 through a baler. Not a pretty sight. One night we were baling at night in heavy hay with an old IH 56 wire baler. Baled up a cat and didn't know it until they hauled the hay a couple days later. It was still alive but not in good shape.

One of the big rounds in the bale row has a snapping turtle rolled into it. She was about five gallon bucket size. I was following the rake and went over her before I comprehended what was going on. Oops. I meant to keep track of that bale and get rid of it but I forgot. Some cow is going to get a surprise. It will be a while - I'm still feeding last years hay.

I found this bull snake coming out of one of my bales last year. Just let him go and he crawled off. Must of disrupted his morning for sure. Bob

Was driving the truck one day as kids picked up bales and stacked them. Saw a snake sticking out of the top of a bale up ahead. Kept my mouth shut and let a kid walk up to the bale and reach for it before I hollered. Thought he was going to have to go home and change his pants.

He would have had to suck that snake into the baler just as he was stringing the bale, therefore, he probably would have been stopped and should have seen the thing before it went in. Also, aren't those giant snakes (pythons and the like) supposed to live in the jungle? I call BS on this picture.

I saw one that big go across our driveway in Wyoming years ago. By the time I got the car stopped and got out to see what kind it was, it was gone. I always thought it was a huge rattle snake.

We used to frequently find snakes in bales when I was a teenager hauling hay,and if we had some city kid on the wagon would hold the bale so he couldn't see snake, and as we threw it on wagon yell SNAKE!! Saw one kid jump from 3rd row up all the way to ground.
