Watch out for scammers

Wanted to give everyone a heads up to look out for scammers. A guy I know about 25 miles from me here in Missouri who also collects Fords put a want ad on here looking for a front mount cultivator for a Ford. He had a guy from North Carolina contact him and said he had one for sale. When he asked for pictures he sent him a pic of my tractor and cultivator I posted on the Ford board here awhile back. The guy looking came by my place a couple weeks ago to visit and I had showed him the same picture then so he knew immediately it was my tractor he said when he told the guy he knew the real owner of the tractor/cultivator the guy said that he knew me too and had just bought it from me. He told me about it yesterday so I texted the guy in NC if he had one for sale and sent me the same picture. When I questioned it he quit responding. Just want to give eveyone a heads up

Last year I ran a want ad on here to buy a WK-40 McCormick gas tank..A man from Michigan contacted me and said that he had one to sell...I asked for a picture and he sent me a picture of a WK-40 tractor that I currently own and said that he was parting it out..I had posted a picture of that tractor on here back in 2007..Beware if a specsgeorge offers something for sale..

Trusting your mieghbor? Sure cannt,I found that out. He also rented my farm for many,many years. He asked me if I didnt trust him and I told him NO I sure didnt Caught him trying to steal corn stock bales. and did SEE him take a wooden post of mine when I was watching.
My parents thought that this guy could walk on water.
Comes off as a super nice guy. But he knows what he is.

If dealing with someone ask for a phone number and call them still weed a few of these guys out.

Yep, If they seem like a saint, they generally ain't!
I read one that said, "Trust your neighbor, but lock your doors and count your chickens!"
