Why?????????

Why doesn't it work to post photos like I used to?

I used to be able to browse for a photo, click on upload, and it would be done.

The photos I'm trying to post are formatted exactly like I've done them before. What changed?

Occasionally I can post a photo. Rest of the time they say it has to end in ?????? All my photos are proper size and are stored in my photos.
Have no trouble anywhere else so I just give up posting on YT

had the same problem lately.

I got in contact with Chris YTsupport and he figured out that the problem was i had spaces in the pic's name like for example
(3 moose)when i took the space away to read ( 3moose) i could upload them no problem.

Try it

Worked for me. 1930 GP

Like vscummins said.

Click on browse
Click on upload
Click on continue

Should work. I haven't had any problems.

I tried to post a pic earlier, it is different I don't know why they changed it, I finally posted one in test area.

Maybe you used your 'zoom in' on your browser. I do that to enlarge the sentences of the post. Then the pic is too large therefore having to use use the scroll left or right slidebar.

I hope this makes sense????

Try 'zoom out' on your browser.

Some of you may not have tried the new picture upload Chris installed on this site.

In Classic view;
You hit browse; another window opens; and you double click on the picture. That's it your done.
No more hit upload; continue.

It puts the address in the box where you type your post so now you can easily put text between each picture.

Have not tried modern view.

It wouldn't hurt to go to site comments and read Bison's post. I am having problems posting photos that come off of my scanner. The error message I got is explained in Bison's post but I haven't had a chance to use the advice yet.

I tried it and the picture looked huge as someone else said and then when I previewed message there was n picture.

Well, let's see if it works for me. For many years I was unable to post any pics here, others could, I was locked out for some reason. Only the last 3 years or so am I able to post a pic again.....

Yea, little different, you don't use the top row of options, a new one at the bottom to use in classic view.

I can get used to it.
