How Do You Carry Your Cell Phone on Tractor??

When I was discharged from the Army in 1955 our neighbor was plowing and I rode up on the tractor
for a few rounds. Later on I discovered my wallet missing. Only had a few dollars in it and some pictures. Never found the wallet. Hal

Front left pocket, it's never fallen out. Of course I use a next to the cheapest Tracfone too, so it's not a huge "smart" phone.

usually in shirt pocket ,, since I use flip phones , if no shirt poket in t shirt ,I simply slip phone on to my neckline of t shirt,,. that's a modern workmansnektie ,,. if I get sweaty handlin hay , iput it in the truck or tractor box, ..those yuppi plastic covers are stupid like the yuppi that invented them , and coninved me one time to give them my hardearned money,,..once moisture gets in , you may as well drop your phonein a gglass of water

Leave it at the house where it stays until I go out on another job. If someone needs to talk to me, they can 1. come to the field or 2 . wait till I get home in the evening. Gee, that's the same thing we did 30 years ago. We don't have good reception here anyway. Keith

Carry my cell phone in the right shirt pocket, left one has the pen, small screwdriver, magnet/screwstarter, and 6 inch ruler. Stay dry since this redneck has used aluminum truck caps on the tractors for shade, and don't care how dumb it looks...

Flip phone. Pouch That has a belt loop through it so it can't fall off. The pouch has velcro closer, but also has a plastic snap buckle for when I am rolling around under equipment.

Most of the time it is in my shirt pocket. If I am on my ford tractor I put it in the little tool box on the left finder. I use flip phone.

I keep mine in an old dewalt cordless drill case that i added magnets to, throw it on the fender, it also carries my handgun, nicely padded with foam, and it's water and dirt proof. Can't hear the phone to answer it, but it's there if I get into trouble in the field.

front or rear pocket of jeans for my iPhone. I have an Otter case that USED to have a belt clip on it. But I broke several of the clips when they caught on something getting in or out of my car. Good thing was they're "lifetime guaranteed" and I got a couple of replacements before I decided that the belt clip was destined to fail. I was afraid I'd be getting on/off the tractor and it would catch and break without me knowing it and it'd be lost forever so I just use the soft case around the phone now and stuff it into a pocket.

Moldboard plowed 5 acres on the 504. Didn't miss the phone until I was done. New phone has a different kind of holster. This one locks on to belt.

I had a local Amishman make me a nice leather pouch. It snaps on the front and, even if I forget to snap it, the phone has never fallen out. I keep it on my belt.

Right front pants pocket. In the front bib pocket of the carharts in the winter. I lost one carrying it on a clip on the right side on my belt.

Working alone most of the time I always carry it in case of emergency.

Have a flip phone and its in the bib of my overalls and when wearing jeans I found a leather cigarette pack holder laying in street. Cut belt slots in closing flap and phone fits in it snug.

Joe Styke DO NOT leave it in the truck.
My brother was scrapping a burnt barn,(legally) and a wall came down on him. He was pinned for 11 hours 20 feet away from his phone.
Crushed his pelvis broke 3 ribs and had internal injuries. Only reason he is alive is because the land owner wondered why his truck was still there and came to check.
If you are going to have a phone keep it where it will do some good!

Exactly the same thing here. The case is nice, but the clip is worthless. It's a little tight in the pocket, but at least I know where it is.

I won't buy or wear a shirt tht doesn't have at least one pocket with a button down flap. My iPhone (no case) fits in there fine.

I carry my iphone in my front left pocket, with a cord running up under my shirt to my head phones so I can listen to my music, while I'm haying, mowing pasture ect.

I have one out in a corn field somewhere and another in one of two hay fields that I was planting. Fresh out of their pouch, complete with flap and Velcro catch. Now, it has found a new home in my front pants pocket.....

My old flip phone came with a clip on it that securely clips it into the pocket flap of my coveralls or jacket. I carry it all the time since I work alone and it is for me to call out for help if need be. Haven't lost it yet. A few years back a farmer got his hand caught while working on his rockpicker. Phone was in the cab but he could not get to it. Ended up cutting his finger or thumb off with a pocket knife to get free. Thats why I carry mine.

in the front pocket of my overhauls, they have a zipper so i wont lose it, may not hear it ring over the tractor engine, lol, but i'll still have it at night

Nope. Never on the tractor, never on one of the motor scooters, rarely in one of the vehicles. I rarely carry my personal cell phone. It pretty much stays home on the counter. My work phone on the other hand, gets carried during the work days or when I'm on call, which is every third week, and I carry it in my pocket then. Cell phones are convenient, but I hate them.

Shirt pocket. Sound guard cabs on the console beside the shifter. Magnums in a cup holder or on the console. I made a pocket out of duct tape for it in the steigers. Stuck on a cab pillar.
