It says poly alpha olefin based oil . It's synthetic engine oil

The basic carrier for Synthetic oil. It has other uses but for engines, it has an appropriate additive package.

I used to work with the stuff. Used in in high voltage equipment as a dielectric/coolant....without the additive package. Look up the specs on it.

POA base oil is used in some of the premium synthetic oils, like Mobil 1, Amsoil and Royal Purple full synthetic.

There are likely others, but those are the ones I know of. I have 30 years of experience and good results with Mobil 1

With the proper additives. Otherwise a dielectric-coolant for use in high voltage microwave transmitters among other things.
