Got a 9' cut to make along garage door. I have a mason, steel, & diamond blade for my 7 1/4" circular saw blade. Will this work?

rkhYes that will work but it depends how thick it is.If it is more than 3" you might want ot rent a concrete saw to cut deeper.

Demo saw with the right type of abrasive wheel, masonry I believe? I've done it many times with one of these when having to excavate under asphalt paving, will be dusty as heck too, unless you can apply water and I am not sure about that with abrasive wheels, diamond type wheels like on a Target saw, uses water due to the blade type, no dust plumes though LOL !. I used to hate doing that work, its nasty business, a respirator would be nice, but a good quality dust mask will work too.

A diamond blade in circular saw will work very well.
Use a garden hose and trickle a little water just in front of the blade to lube it and keep the dust down. It is hard to push it straight.
The saw will want to curve off on you. Either nail a board down to the black top and use that as a guide or mark the cut line with soapstone and score it first, then second cut, then third cut.

The rental shop in your area will have two sizes of 'chop saw' A 12in and a 16in and you can get asphalt cutting fiber blades. Jim
