Looking on the weather channel. Wow this system goes from South Texas all the way to beyond Cape Cod! Moving from SW to NE track. Rigjt up the coast. South Jersey is from 5" to 8" when ever it changes from rain. No big whoop but there is an awful lot of ice under the snow on walks and drives. Everything froze solid from last week overnight.
Stopped at the market to pickup One gallon of milk "I was out " and a couple of tomatoes for A salad. The check out lines were five and six deep. I guess we will be snow bound for a whole week? He he.
The auction this Saturday the 7th and is at Schaper Bros. in Pittsgrove,NJ. 913 Landis ave. I think it is RT.56. I saw five rows of stuff so there is plenty there.

I've been to farm auctions that were held in near blizzard conditions. Didn't seem to affect prices at all; those that were there were there to buy things. The lookers and tire kickers stayed home; they weren't needed there anyway.

I've often heard people talk about going to a sale in the rain or snow expecting good deals. I think just the opposite. A really nice spring or fall day and most farmers have work to do unless they really want something at a sale.
