8 inches and more on the way.

See what Terre Haute got. Still coming down.

Got to test my wooden snow blade. Didn't break
anything. Back wheels spins when I push too much.
Works great because I can push snow on lawn and
not remove rocks and damage grass. No ice to
worry about when you get the snow before it melts
and refreezes. Plan to down size blade to 7 ft. I
love the floating/flexing design. The woods mower
deck is bullet proof and I have the rear brackets
angled braced pulling forward, so I'm not
concerned about the mower. 4 inch plastic pipe
held up better than I expected.

This works better than my Jubilee with rear 7 ft
blade.

Very ingenious Geo. I like your lawn chairs. I read somewhere the factory designers didn't know how to design them due to everyone being different so they had all the company employees sit on a clay casting for several minutes to leave their indentation and then they used that impression as the model for the seat bottom.

My late dad made a vee plow in the 1940's using 2 x 12's that was horse drawn. Worked very good. Had to get that milk out for pickup. Hal

That's weird, my dad made a v plow he pulled behind his case. I made a 3 pt v plow for Jubilee. I use it to level dirt with. I got rid of box blade after making it.

I remember seeing this picture before, but I didn't notice it was pushing from the mower.

Narrow it up a little, and add a couple of little forward facing wings, and you have a wooden, home made, "snow pusher". I like my purchased one for the same reasons. No scalping/pushing gravel around.

This is an old pic, I did add wings.

Plan make a new 7 ft blade out of treated lumber so I can leave it outside. Very little snow comes over the top but I plan put another 4 inch pvc on the top to push the snow forward.

I'm convinced the key to this working as well as it does it the weight factor, wood is lighter than metal.

This is the only blade I've seen that doesn't remove gravel. And that makes me very excited.

Not to mention, by using the mower deck, I don't have to remove it. Only 4 bolts to install the blade too. Keep it simple and easy.

I got what your getting yesterday. Have around half that much at 4 inches last I measured it. We now have sleet falling and they are calling for rain later today so the snow should not stay long

Its nice to the southern part of state getting snow for a change. We are getting light snow now with about an inch since last night.

My dad wasn't even born in 1912. He was born in 1920. He never graduated from HS, depression when he was a kid.

You are right, for the most part the snow has gone around me. Really didn't have much of a winter, except for a record cold Feb. Finally got some snow, but nothing like last year.

I remember what lake effect snow is like growing up in Starke county. Laporte got more. My cousin lives in Laporte. He laughs when I tell him I got 8 inches. He says is that all?
