OT. Another family loss

I posted this past November that my 86 year old father had passed as a result of alzhiemers. Well sadly yesterday my brother in law fell from his roof while clearing snow and did not survive.
A Vietnam huey pilot veteran, a lifetime farmer and the love of my sisters life was only 64 years old.
Ten years my senior, I was invited to visit for a week shortly after they were married in 1976, I was exposed to dairy farming in its purist form, like a Norman Rockwell painting would depict.
My sister and he are wonderful christian people and I'm sure his greatest rewards await him in heaven, but I sure will miss him

Very sorry to hear that. On top of the sadness, losing somebody to an accident like that can be so painfully frustrating with the "what ifs" and "if onlys".

I am real sorry to hear about your loss. I know the big man upstairs has a plan for us. Our faith has taught us that. Its hard to see sometimes from the curves in the road of life. A loss is hard anyway you look at it. The only comfort is that there are on lifes grandest adverture and they have big man right beside them so how wonderfull is that.
