Plan your planting accordingly.

Yeah, I'm in the never zone. I remember last fall talking to the neighbor about how much hay he needed to make it thru winter and its going fast with the cold weather. Greg

There won't be a spring in Wisconsin this year, because the governor cut it out of the budget.

Yes, and I thought I had plenty of wood to keep warm. Its going faster than I thought as the temperature keeps going sub zero with wind. I'll be fine but I always like to have a little more cushion. gobble

This may come as a complete surprise, but there is a possibility that maybe you have a tendency toward sarcasm. Occupational hazard, my friend.

I seen it almost snow on Memorial day. So that aint far off here in WI. On the other end, the first day of school(Sept.) for first flakes.

If anyone wants to know we don't recommend or even think about planting the garden till at least June around here.

I am located just on the northern edge of the NEVER zone and in the 43 years that I have lived here I have seen that Never many times.

I have wanted to move south for many years but in the winter I am too poor to move and in the summer it is too nice to leave here. Guess I am just stuck here forever. Stay warm!

Clearly in the never zone!
-17 here this am.
First week of May 1973 had snow on the ground
one morning gone by afternoon.
Killing frost first week of june.
Growing points on corn was above ground.

Keeping this tractor related of course (with a very bad pun alert)

ifure, it sounds like you need a major overhaul of the governor return spring.

I'm in the "slow transition to spring" zone, which is OK, because I am always "slow to get garden ready" when Spring does arrive.

I'll swap you governors!!!! You can have ours!!!!!

I'm so glad I live in the heart of the purple area.
As I say to the lad that helps me, who got shot in
the face by his brother, shoot me in the face.

My grandfather used to say "we only have three
seasons here, winter, July and August". We sometimes
have frost in August one year the 21st, and once snow
flurries at higher elevations on July 4th.

Yup, a new spring is what we need. March, 20?

Well, you're welcome to come to NY. The Gov increased spending on spring by 500% and passed all the costs onto the counties and mandated they increase their funding by 1000% while staying under the 2% cap so he can say he cut taxes. I'd take Walker any day!

Ditto that! I'd trade ours for Wisconsin's any day of the week!
