Fertilizer prices - what are you seeing?

Here this is what I was giving from one local source locally.

Urea $470/ton
Agrotain runs $125/gallon and is used at three quarts/ton
Potash is $480/ton
AMS 400/ton
Anhydrous should come in between $725 and $750 by June

Any one else got similar of varying prices.

In NEAR I priced triple 19 today at $479 a ton, My prepay was $469 a ton. That's $62 a ton higher than I paid last year when they blamed the cost on high gas prices :?: :?:

I can't help much. Purchased last Dec.- MAP $585. KCl $440. 30% liquid N w/2.5% S, $352.

The Agrotain I have used was dry powder, for use in liquid N. It mixed so badly that I swore I would never use it again. Liquid NutrisphereN stabilizer mixes nicely. $64/gal. Mix 1/200.

I paid Jan 19 $302 for 28% and $48 for AMS(5-0-0-0-3), central IL 30 miles north of ADM Decatur. This is an independent, NO farm bureau that raises their prices to give you patronage dividends and let you pay their taxes.

When corn goes back below $3, then the prices will lower because of demand.

We always prepay or buy in the last year but this fall our supplier said in our interest to wait with fuel prices going down. Asked again the other day and he said hold off hope it does not bite me but he has always been a pretty square shooter. Says we are going to get by with 40 to 50 a ton less than last year which was really fall before last when things were high. Who knows.
