Goin to sell all my Case stuff and buy Jd, probly one piece. Then I'm going to apply to the government to get some of that free money they have for going green. Should be able to live well for a long time.

Ive always found that with 'deere i had no money, cause those parts are cast outta gold! They just buff off the paint for the yellow two-tone.....

You scared me there for a minute. Don't do that again. I thought you had bumped your head or something. lol

I was going to go Oliver, but I thought I would get more grants being the lighter, more abundant, Jd green.

Larry,
Jon and I just got off the phone. I told him that you would be proud of him driving a Dart Blue colored loaner, while the White Eagle was in the shop for body repairs. HeHe.

Jon, What ever will you do with all your spare time???? I mean nothing to work on.....Might need a bigger mailbox for your checks and all the tons of paper work that goes with it.LOL!! Seems to me you like fords pickups any chance they will be going down the road too??? Might as well go all green.HAha!!

Jon, you make me think of a guy I saw today. He used to have a red combine and traded for a 6600. Went into the IH deal afterwards and told the owner that he was mad at him for Ed buying the deere. He said that it never broke down and now he doesn't have time to go to town to get parts taking breaks or eating since it goes all the time. Then later when he got the goodies out of the 6600, he said that every time he hauled a load of grain to the elevator that he was losing so many parts that he had a hard time keeping it going still and wasn't getting paid for the salvage.

Never thought about the stuff getter, not to green with the v10 is it. Think I could put a gooseneck in a Gater? I think they have them with cabs now.

Don't say like that Larry!!! Fords are my favorite, right behind case and oliver. Lol Spent many hundreds of hours on a jubilee as a lad raking hay, on the rope pulling the hay up in the barn, pulling wagons beside the combine so dad could dump on the go, and with the back blade on it. The ford was narrow enough so that if I rubbed the tire against the tire on our 830 case pulling the case 77 combine the auger would just reach to dump into the wagon. A good many of those hours were while sitting on the hood facing backward while raking hay, at least til dad cought me. Lol. Spent most of the summer on that tractor for many years between raking, pulling up the hay and chasing the combine. I know I was allowed to drive it alone while I was in kindergarten since that was the year I ran over my little brothers head with a hay wagon. Good thing it was his head because it didn't do much damage. But thanks for the trip down memory lane!
