Was in town buying a few things and at one store there was a pick up parked right in the road way of the store parking lot. You could clearly see he was not in a parking space. Guess who ever it was thought they where special Truck had a bumper sticker that said badas$ on it and all I could think of was what a dumb as$

It's a pet peeve of mine also. At our Walmart. The real important people park in the Fire Zone! I remember who they are. Also the ones that park in the handicap places and bounce out and skip in. While some old codger hobbles in from way out.

I'm one of those who parks clear across the parking lot for the exercise and I'm a little biased against the able but lazy ones in our world who don't want to walk.
At the grocery we frequent I have seen a double line of cars illegally parked right by the door so they can run right in when there are parking spaces 30 feet away or less. What's laughable is the illegally parked cars on the outside block the illegally parked cars on the inside from getting out.

We do have those who can only walk a few feet before they run out of gas, my dad being one of them. I have left him right at the door and then parked in the parking lot. I have seen a young able bodied person drop a handicapped person at the door and then use the handicapped sticker to park in a handicapped spot and sit there and wait for the real handicapped person to come back out. I'm getting red in the face, better quit.

What about the person that slams their door into your vehicle and presents you with a dent that will devalue YOUR vehicle, and sometimes they do it with a $250.00 car/truck!

Handicapped parking spaces are for people with a [i:e925f78440]"handicap".[/i:e925f78440]
Might be that some of them have a Mental Handicap!

I also park further away and feel fortunate that I still have the ability to get around.
It really bothers me when I see kids in the cars of lazy people that park in fire lanes.
What does it teach these kids.

Ive seen people park half in and half out and sideways of a parking spot. My first thought was I bet he colored outside the lines when he was little. ;)

Hay rusty farmall I park way out back at the big box store no one around for miles. then when I come out there always some pice of crap ( car and persom) parked wight up with in 6 " from me. that just pizz me off. Bob

I have seen the same thing at truck stops, I have asked the driver why they are blocking the fuel pumps and most will say they are only going to be therefor a few moments.
I would tell them in that time they might be a dozen trucks come in here and need the space.
It didn't do any good, they just said mind my own business.

robbers like to park near the door so they can make a quick getaway after stealing or grab cash register drawer. some security people know this and make a habit of going to illegally parked car with gun out and waiting- backup partners is hidden with shotgun and some times police called. inconsiderate parker confronted with polite security officer- with gun in hand- sometimes gets a bit shook up, especially if he is 'asked' to wait for the police officer that often figures since he is called out may as well run a full ID check-and enough times that results in a warrant open, haul parkers hind end in to jail and that helps officers arrest stats for the week. If nothing else a ticket for obstructing fire lane or handi capped shows officer busy. And in some areas the robbery does happen and alerted security or officer gets a real good bust- or in couple recent cases the employees get their guns ready and robber gets hot as soon as he pulls his guns and threatens cashier. I pulled into a walgreens drug store with my
handicapped wheel chaired brother, elderly mother
and elderly aunt. All of them need and have
handicapped things to hang from any auto mirror so
I can get them as close to the entrance/exit as
possible. They had two H/parking spots both were
taken by one car. The car had no special plate or
mirror hanger. I am very upset to say it nicely, I
walk into the store to find out who's car it
is...It's a fat lazy -----.she's standing in a
long line,says she'll be out in a minute...WHAT?
manager is sent to talk to me. I tell him what is
the matter, I then ask him to call the police so
she can be ticketed. He said he wouldn't call them
that the woman would move it in a minute...Oh I am
very mad now. The woman looks at me and says I'm
sorry I glare back at her and say no you are
pitiful and storm out...Some people...MTP...

I actually think some people think a handicapped sticker is some sort of a badge of honor. Don't get my wrong, some people really do need one even though they might look perfectly fine. I took an older man and wife to Sioux City for a doctor's appointment for the man. He had one leg and need a wheelchair. I parked by the door in the unloading zone to get him out and she handed me the handicapped sticker and told me to hang it on the mirror so I could park in the handicapped spot after he was on his way. I put the sticker back in the glove box and parked a ways away.

I have a good friend who's wife has terrible arthritis and suffers for it if she walks any distance. She refuses to get a handicapped sticker. She told her husband a handicapped sticker is "for those who really need one".

I agree with all of you about fire lines and being respectful of others. but i have to point out that just cause a young person with a handicap plate parks in a handicap spot and walks in in a normal mannor do not think that they are a young punk. I am 31 and I kind of have a baby face. I always get snide comments when I park in the handicap space and i do have the plate. I may walk normally now but 5 years ago i couldn't. I STILL have 3 bullets and 37 pieces of shrapnel from the irag war. I look fine till i take off my cloths and then you can see the scars. my right leg is more metal than bone. I LOOK fine and healthy but no one knows whats under neath. Just cause some one looks healthy does not mean they are not disabled. My health is between me and my doctor and no one else. I to get frustrated at the disrespect that people show in a parking lots but lets not be quick to judge people.

A year or so ago I let a cop have it for blocking not 1 but 3 parking places with his car. He said he was on a call and I said that does not matter you are parking in a handicapped parking area and you could have parked where I just did but no I had to park where I should not have had to. I have a bad right knee and should walk wit ha Cain but use the shopping cart as a Cain instead

I have to take my son to school on Fridays, the parking next to the school has a sign that clearly says, NO PARKING during School days between 7.30 am to 4.30 pm, and it is always full of cars, this is at 8 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. I'm going to laugh when the cops start to do there job!

In our area, at the WalMart, Target or Kmart, the space just to the side from the door next to the building is reserved parking for Hooterites. It's legal as long as some bearded guy in a black hat sits behind the wheel with the motor running. At least that's what they think.

I was in a Kmart parking lot and there was a new Cadillac that had parked in a way that it took up two spaces. I had an old pick up and was able to pull in to a space that blocked the Cadillacs drivers door but I was within the parking space lines. When I came out of the store, there was a note on my windshield that said I should learn how to park, along with some other choice words.

My wife has a handicapped parking sticker. We rarely use it unless it is a long way for her to walk. Actually, I have been doing all the shopping except twice in over a year now. One of those times I had to get her out of the store so she could lay back in the seat with the hand warmer(never leave home without one) on her bad leg while I went back in to finish shopping. On the other side though, a few years ago, we were in a handicap parking spot, I wheeled the groceries out of the store way ahead of her. Guy jumped me that his daughter has to drive around and around looking for a close parking spot. I listened for a while then said, take a look, she is coming now, the one who the sticker is for. Have to be careful who you jump on.

I have had a crushed Disc since 1994 and "Lived(?)" with the pain (even with multiple surgeries) even now and NEVER ONCE did I leave a shopping cart out of it's intended place..

I HATE to see LAZY "AMERICANS(?)" that will not act like they have anything to be Proud of...

Ticks me off right away..

Ron.

Ya funny how even if your the one in the right then blame you for them being wrong. Had that happen at my local O'Reilly's auto parts store and had a guy start to jump me but the guy behind the counter stopped him and said hey this guy parked in the lines you did not leave him alone and then turned around that told the guy hey he is also a D.A.V. which I am

Ya had some one try to jump me for parking in a handicapped place one time. Had 2 younger guys with me at the time and they both jumped on the guy and told them hey this guy has a bad back bad knee and bad shoulder and is a vet so leave him alone

Rich, if I see one more posting of yours bypassing filters so you can use foul language like this (dumb as$ and badas$ in the post above), you are out of here.

This morning I deleted a post where you said your neighbors could go F* themselves. These posts are being reported by many members of the YT community. I will not tolerate this choice of language, cloaked or otherwise, from you or anyone here.

These forums are meant to be family friendly and I would like everyone, regardless of their mood or whether you are in disagreement with one another, to express yourselves like you should in mixed company.
