any tractor beside Cub with reverse direction PTO?

Building a chipper and want to make sure the rotation the rotation is correct. Anything besides a CUB have a reverse direction PTO?

Neighbor has an early 60's massey. I think it has a reverse PTO, which I thought would be cool if you got a PHD stuck.

We had a JD 440 crawler with a mechanical reverser, it may of reversed the pto also.

probably had ground drive pto witch if you drive in reverse will turn the pto backwards. and yes you can back a post hole auger out of the ground with it.(back and forth,back and forth)

tractor belongs to neighbor. I worked on it last summer. We had to split to repair a tranny seal. You may be right, there are 2 positions for pto. One may be wheel. So If you did get PHD stuck, jack up one wheel, put it in reverse and screw it out. The other may have been for live PTO. Tractor did have 2 stage clutch.

So if you have an old tractor that is wheel pto, Jack it up, put it in reverse and pto goes backwards, right?

Yes, if it has ground drive PTO, tractor in R will turn PTO in R.

I also do the "reverse the post hole digger" when it jams.

240 MF with ground speed, I leave the draw bar offset to one side and use a suicide jack to lift one wheel about 1/4" off the ground, hold the wheel brake on the tire that is still on the ground, put in ground speed and low reverse, let clutch out all the way and idle the digger backwards out of the hole.
