Hi Im trying to replace the drive axle bearing in my 92 Gehl 3610 skidsteer. I took both wheels off because I wasn't sure how to take the cover off. I need to access the center drive sprocket. The cover is between the left side wheels and has a chain tensioner on it. Im not sure if its press fit on or attached from under the seat. Thank You!

Check on the Harry Ferguson forum for info on using
15w40 engine oil instead of the original
recommendations. I have used it for about 5 years
and it works great.

Sounds like you are replacing the bearings in the jack shaft sprocket. Tilt back the ROPS. Remove the top chain case cover. Find the master links in the chains. Remove the cam tensioner that is between the two tires. Remove the four nuts holding cover. On the inner part of the chain case (chassis) there is going to be another plate with a 5/8" nut I think with another four 3/8 nuts. Remove nuts and tap out shaft sprocket will pull out from top.

Whats ROPS?

I found the manual online and noticed that there's an inner plate it would have saved a lot of time earlier. I pulled both wheels off. This is my first time doing this the drive sprocket bearing is toast. Hoping nothing else is damaged.
