Yanmar tractor hyds question

So I have a guy wit ha Yanmer tractor. He took the loader off of it and hooked the 2 hyd hoses from the loader control together and now his 3 point does not work. I have not seen it yet but I am thinking that the loader control valve is closed circuit type so to get the 3 point back I will need to install a shut off valve or cap the 2 lines off. So I'm I on the right track of it there a lot more to it??
Thanks

Can't tell you for sure on a Yanmar, but on that China made
Jinma I had when you took the loader off you had to hook two
hoses together where the loader unplugged to get the three point
hitch to work. Worked fine with the loader on and worked fine
with it off as long as those two hoses were plugged together.
No extra valves or hoses were required, just plug the two together.

Well from what he told me he hooked the 2 hoses off the load up to each other but not sure how he did it or if there are more then just 2

Place I used to work had a 3020 Kubota, in the owners manual when you took the loader off you were to turn a slotted screw on a valve under the right running board I think, could be the left.

Yanmar hyd system is open center and a closed center valve attached to hyd system could break hyd pump. My guess is the is quick disconnects aren't seated properly when loader valve was removed.
