Pulley repair

Just finished restoring/painting a 1952 McCormick Super WD6-TA tractor. It has a pulley on it that is oversized to run a threshing machine. It was made of many "sheets" of some sort of material "sandwiched together". Where would one look to get the materials to repair it?

Most probably paper. You could probably make one given enough paper grocery sacks. Believe there are some manufacturers that you might be able to get a ready made. Seems like a strange material to make them of, but apparently they worked.

Den gave the right answer.

Only thing I can add from experience. Paint your
core before sending it in. Their process won't
ruin your paint. However painting the paper part
of the pulley after they are done will cause it to
separate. Don't ask how I know this!
