Hate to rub it in, but my wife and I just came in from my shop and the peepers were sounding off in the pond. Saw about a dozen robins today.
Sorry.

Its been a wierd year I'm afraid what will happen 6o degrees here yesterday and today American falls id.

Been seeing robins for about a week now, but yesterday and today they've been flocking more than normal. Not sure what the official high was, but it hit 71 here at the house.

Yep, hit 70 here today. Was cold 3 days ago and they say much colder later this week. As I always say, if you live in the Southeast and don't like the weather today, wait till tomorrow.

Come up here to Vermont, we had a high here today of 9* F with a wind chill of about 10 mph. Spring won't arrive here until mid to late April. Our peepers are sleeping soundly.

If the forecast holds out this should be a better mardi gras than last year.
But I suspect we will get at least one or two more cold snaps before we can put the winter to bed.

Well, it has been a nasty cold day here in central NY. Got a couple inches of snow over night, and this morning we had a cold damp wind from the NNE. Started snowing hard about noon, and supposed to continue until Tuesday. 14"-18" expected. Temps in teens.

Richard, you know Mother nature is a teaser! We ain't outta the woods yet. My son lives in Asheville, they hit 69F today, same as we did in Asheboro. But I'm sure the groundhog knows what he's talking about. LOL

Yeah sure it is! lol
We still have more snow on the way, yesterday up close to 40, today mid 20's. IF we are lucky, we may see nice bare ground and warmer spring like weather in mid to late March. I HOPE!

That's the course. Yesterday was my first trip on the snowmobile trails.

We put over four hundred miles on our sleds in NH this weekend. One of the guys brought an employee who had never ridden before. He did a good job of keeping up except for when the borrowed sled caught fire on the first morning, and when the second borrowed sled had a spark plug get fouled with aluminum on the second day.

Saturday it got up to 50* hear in SW Ohio, And while out enjoying the weather I noticed something in the grass in the yard. On closer look it was a dandylion coming up in the dormant grass, There was snow on this ground 3 days ago so what gives? The more I looked there are more than just one there are a lot of them. Never seen them come up and out this early in February. Bandit
