Grand daughter came the other day sniffing. Then my wife got sick. Now I have the same thing. Seams like the grand daughter was over her sniffing in a couple days. My has had her cold over a week now. At least I know what I'm in for. Stan

Had a chest cold since last week. Can't seem to get rid of it. Haven't missed work but I sure wanted to. Seems like half the people I work with have some kind of cold.

Have a virus the kids at school brought in. They seemed to get over it in about 3 days. Day 4 for me- heard tell that older folks are sick longer. "This too shall pass."

Just getting to the tail end of a cold that started while on vacation 3 weeks ago. I'd probably be over it but when we got home I pushed it a little too hard at work trying to catch up and I think I made it worse. Wife thought she was coming down with it last night but my daughter ended up getting.

Yeah, daughter has been sick and now wife just went to bed at 8:00 said she feels sick. I was out plowing snow from midnight till 4:00 Tuesday afternoon so now I'll probably catch it! It's been real cold here in New York and more snow coming. Greg

A cold will last about 7days without a doctor. If you see a doctor, you can knock it out in about a week. Tommy

My daughter-in-law across the road has had a sore throat and fever for a couple of days. I've been healthy as a horse. Oops, I jinxed myself.

A couple of months ago I got a 'cold'. At that time I hadn't had one for more than 5 yrs. (my wife is a nurse and SHE knows). Sucker beat me up for 3+ weeks. I'm part coyote and am much better NOOWWWWW !

Grand daughter brought it home from school last Thursday. Youngest daughter was down 4 days with fever. I got it Sunday, still fighting it.

I used to get one sinus infection after another from mid September on, and as I got older it was getting worse. Finally I saw a different ENT and he got me onto sinus irrigation with saline. I do it every day and have been sick a tenth of what I used to be. I got my life back!

With two boys in school and a wife who teaches pre-k, they're always bringing some bug home. Last time Anne got sick I managed to avoid it. Not this time. Sore throat, congestion, chills.
I wish parents would keep their sniffly, hacking kids home when it's so obvious they're sick!

I have gone to work myself not well. I was the only maintenance man on the 3rd shift. I doubt it was even appreciated. Stan

Couple of years ago had a couple of shots: Shingles and pneumonia nnalert. Both single dosage.

Haven't been sick for 2 years, haven't had Shingles......knock on wood . Down here lots of places give the shots and are either cheap or Medicare covered (insurance also I guess if you have it)...cost is no biggie.

We take the flu shot annually, when it is first available.

Part of the equation is we don't go out much, when we do we watch for and avoid sick folks, use hand sanitizer liberally when out, and bless their hearts, don't have any little younguns to get us sick any more. Remembering one of my worst illnesses was from holding a toddler who had a cold......just because they are small doesn't mean the thing is less serious.

Good luck and get well y'all.

Mark

I was a janitor at a university for 28 years. In the winter I referred to it as the booger farm.
