These where the tractor on my grandpa's farm

AS I grew up in Riverside CA. My grandpa had some land we use to farm. he had what us kids called cool tractors. A farmall M and a Farmall Cub plus he had what we called old green. John Deere G. Grandpas tractor was a farmall 14 hand crank. We where told not to touch this one because it was his tractor. What i find interesting is that the hand clutch VS pedal clutch is no big deal. you just have to get use to them. We as kids had no problems with them but we shure did have fun on all those tractors.

I spent many hours playing on broken down tractors when I was little(about 5-10yr old). Me and my brother could play on the working ones to, but preferred the bad ones so we could play with all the levers and switches. When my nephews come out ,and play on the tractors, we always find a switch left on on the working tractors, darn brats. When I was big enough, pa would drive I'd jump on and we'd go down the field with the tractors. I first got to drive at 10 on one of the smaller tractors. I never had problem with hand or foot clutch either, till we got the T6 with the left hand-hand clutch. It took a while on that thing to get use it that.
