My father has a 1934 McCormick F12 with steel wheels (tricycle) he is interested in selling. Very nice condition, was running when stored it in his garage 15 years ago. Does anyone know what range of value it has?

Their are still many around as you state, in barn condition. Not running now! lucky to get 400-500 for it. Good running with good paint guys are haveing a hard time getting 1200-1500 for them.
Only wide front or electric start will make it worth more. Sometimes implement will bring more money than the tractor, as they are harder to find. oldiron29

I had a chance to buy an F-14 with good paint good tires
complete tractor that ran had fenders and radiator shutters, for
$1500 if that gives you any idea.

Sad thing is, there really isn't much of a market for them. The guys who grew up on them are pretty much gone, and their kids are living in a condo with no interest in them. If you 1K, you should take it.

I would never get rid of my Dad's F12. A lot of memories of when Dad Farmed with it. Dad bought it from a large farming family in the early 40's. There are a lot of the family decendants who know of the tractor through their dad's or uncles using the tractor, and passing the info down. Since no one in my family knows much about the tractor anymore. I told the other family they can have the F12 when my brother and my self leave for good. Stan

400 to 600. If it has front steel and the wheels are in dood shape and the tractor is complete and all orginal and engine free maybe a little more. Running, maybe around 700 to 800. Restored, maybe 1000 or better. These tractors are getting to be really old and are considered antiques. Bad thing is, the generation that ran them are about all gone and they are not as handy as newer tractors.

I think I might be sure they really want it and will preserve it. Otherwise you might put it in the hands of a collector for whatever you can get, or donate to a museum, just to know it lives on. It might become scrap if you don't, then your memories will live on in China.
