OT- Wireless TV transmitters

SWMBO wants a TV in the kitchen where it is impossible to fish a wire. I bought a transmitter/receiver rig but is will only accept input from something like a VCR with the three colored RCA phone jacks. Does anybody make a transmitter/receiver that will take a straight coax signal from my dish and rebroadcast that?

If I can find one I can also put a TV in the barn while I work on my tractors.

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Straight signal from you dish is something that your dish receiver has to decode before it can be viewed. NO TV can directly view that unless it would have a satellite receiver/decoder built into it.

I just went through that with our Dish dual receiver / DVR. My brother has very different viewing tastes than I do, so we put the second TV in the master bedroom. A place that would be very difficult to run audio / video wires 40 ft from living room to bedroom.
We bought a wireless TV transmitter / receiver that plugs into the Dish reciver TV 2 RCA plugs and transmits to another unit in the bedroom that sends the AV signals to the second TV,s AV1 jacks. Works great and did not need to drill holes and string wires.

We bought the transmitter / reciever at best buy
It is a TERK model LF30S.

The Dish recievers TV2 remote is RF, so has no problem operating it's tuner from 40 ft away through walls.

Powermid makes a transmitter/receiver. The transmitter is in my basement - the receiver is in a second floor bedroom. Works perfectly - no wire required.
