1/3 scale steam engine

Hi guys and gals, I went to look at a 1/3 scale Port Huron
steam engine in our area last week that is for sale. It is very
nicely built and last ran about 5-6 years ago. It won't take
much to build a fire back in it again. I have not seen one sell,
any ideas of a value. Thank you for the help.

A local one sold for $16,500 two years ago. It had all the bells and whistles and was currently certified at the time. Hope this helps, and good luck. Please post pictures when you get it. I really like toys.

This one has been setting down the road for years. It's got new paint, it was black last year. I think the wife said it was built in the 60' .. I'll stop again and talk with the owner to get the skinny

Get a qualified steam engineer to inspect the boiler before you fire that boiler. Lots of rust could have occurred in that period of time, literally turning the boiler into a bomb.

I have no idea on price, but make sure boiler is re-certified before firing it up.
