Snow Machine

Had to do some changing in the way I feed. Snow is getting so deep, the Hydro 70 couldn't handle it anymore.

This combination works way better.

Yep, sometimes.

If it gets another 2 feet deeper, they'll go on. As of now, there's no stopping her. Heavy tractor. :>)

And I'm the one always saying I don't need a 4x4; might have to rethink that one. :>)

I am thinking I could get you a new 4X4 cab KUBOTA up there and you would love it.. Just laughing hard to change those old IH guys. Been a few 88 series go cheap around here lately. Ever time I see one I think of you.. Still no music. Stay warm and take this dang cold weather back north.

Once you have a 4x4 with cab and loader you wonder how you managed before! I have an 886 IH with cab and loader, and while it is a great tractor, it hardly ever gets run in the winter now that I have the 492 Massey Ferguson. So nice to move snow and feed hay in a light jacket and not have to fight with spinning trying to move. A bale on the front and a bale on the back and go. While I'm the first to admit they are not cheap, I bought mine at just the right time. Cattle prices had just started to go up and the have not stopped. I needed the tractor for a tax item and paying for it is very do-able with the high prices.

Have an older 1066 that picked up couple years ago fairly cheap, isn't much to look at and noisy year-around cab!!! Use it mostly in the winter to open roads as wife is a nurse-practioner and needs to get to work and we are 2 miles out!!! Had an old 450 gaser with farmhand and once that old time clock ticked passed 60 years old I don't take the cold or north winds so it was either get a cab or her a motel (which wasn't to her liking)!!!!!! It has a 340 dual-al with back blade!!!! Don't have a shed out here it will fit in so sets out and so far as long as it has been plugged in and batteries up she starts by 4 revolution, NO either!!! Like I said cab is noisey but heater works and it sure feels MUCH nicer in there then setting out in the open!!!!

By the subject line... I thought maybe you'd gotten into manufacturing snow - but looks like there's no need for that!

Nice picture.

Anytime you see a X in a Kubota model that denotes cheaper but in the case of that tractor it is a simple , cheaper , well build unit. Offers a lot of tractor for the price.
