I was looking through some photos this evening, the first one I took at least a dozen years ago while visiting in Lancaster County PA. The other two I saw while traveling rt. 22 on near Lewistown PA. Around home it used to be common for Mail Pouch to advertise on barns. What kind of barn art is in you neck of the woods?

Not many around here. An occasional "Prepare to meet thy God",but that's about it. I used to like to go to Ohio when I was a kid and see the "Chew Mailpouch Tobacco" and "See Rock City" barns down there.

Farmer John, just went passed the one near Elizabethtown Pa last tue . Sad to say it needs redone. faded pretty bad. Your pic looks good.

Neighbor's barn with mural with a family connection to 1755 Conestoga wagon trip from Lancaster county PA to western PA to supply General Braddock.
During four days that April, Benjamin Franklin signed up wagons, horses and drivers for 15 shillings a day. He made it clear that if Lancastrians did not volunteer, British soldiers would force them to do their duty.

Not exactly "art", but this barn near Toledo, Washington is kind of famous. Some guy on the internet is selling prints of this pic for several hundred dollars.

There's another barn about 10 miles south of Chehalis along Interstate 5 that had a very nice logo for Lucky Lager beer painted on it about 30 years ago- it didn't last long, it ran afoul of the Lady Bird Johnson highway beautification act, that said no advertising within 600 feet of an interstate highway unless on the business premises. The barn owner had to paint out the lettering.

Early in his career, wildlife painter Les Kouba painted barn signs for the Coca-Cola company.
