Gibson tractor

I came acrossed this tractor on Craigslist. I've heard of Gibsons before but know very little about them. The owner is asking $395 for it, would this be an ok price for it? I'm almost positive the engine is stuck, but I have no idea if it is missing parts because i don't know what they look like when they are finished. Any info on the model and value would be greatly appreciated.

Someone has converted it from tiller steer to a steering wheel.

These tractors will spin the tractor tires with 7 hp. The engine is worth $300 by itself. It has a T92 transmission which was used in cars, jeeps and Economy tractors.

As you figured, I own one and would love to purchase this one if it was closer.
In my opinion it is a good deal as I paid $450 for one without the engine.

Does any one have any idea what model this is? What the value of this tractor would be if it was completely restored? Does any one sell aftermarket parts, engine overhaul kit?

Type "Gibson Tractors" on google images. You will
see lots of pictures. BTW,Gibson tractors were made
in Longmont Colorado. Last one built in '48. The
factory burned in early 50s. All records/paperwork
were lost.None survives

Here's 3 restored Gibsons at Canandaigua NY last summer. The EF has a 2 cyl air cooled Wisconsin; the H a 4 cylinder Hercules; the IFA a 6 cyl Herc.

That is a Gibson D, it has been altered by putting a steering wheel, generator and battery on it. they are running it without an air cleaner. that looks like the original wisconson engine on it which would make it an AEH model engine.

I saw this model E down at a show in Fredricksburg Texas earlier this year. I have seen the restored units sell for from $1500 to $4000. I have never worked on one.
