What the heck are these?

I don't know what these went to:
Oliver track adjusters?
Farmall bolts adjusters for A or M?
Something International?
or Implement of some kind?

The one on the bottom appears to have been machined so a wrench will fit on it. What diameter and length are they? Looks like fine thread.

They are both the same the one on the bottom has the nut spun all the way down. I'll measure them the next time I go out to the shop. Just guessing here but they are about a foot long and 1" in dia. I'd say 8 threads per inch (TPI) NC on the short threaded end and 14 TPI NF on long threaded end... But like I said I'll measure them the next time I head out to the shop.

OK, after a closer look, I can see the difference in the threads on the end of the bolts.

(quoted from post at 04:11:36 12/14/14) Looks familiar, can't place it right now... positioning adjusters of some kind?
Your response made me think of an old circle saw mill blade adjustment. But I think they are way to big for that.

With the fine threads and the longer than usual
nut it looks like they may have belonged to some
sort of gear puller is my first thoughts. Because
the one with the machined head reminds me of one.

they are called "double threaded studs". if you google it, you will see there are all kinds of styles for different purposes.

Went out to the shop and the light out there is much better, Guess what I found.
15" long, x 1" Dia. 8 TPI on both ends, 2" long x 1 5/8 head size nut
I think it is a puller of some kind too. I'll Google it in a min.

You might have a hard time. Your picture caption says "2256" as the last 4 digits, but I can clearly read "255" as the first 3 numbers.

Miller Manufacturing of Detroit Michigan...

The website, Alloy Artifacts, states the following: "At some point in the early to mid 1950s, Bonney Forge & Tool Works was acquired by Miller Manufacturing of Detroit, a maker of specialty tools and equipment for the automotive industry. With Miller's backing, Bonney built a new factory in Alliance Ohio and was in operation there by 1957; the new factory was used for production of both Bonney and Miller branded tools."

They look like hold down studs for a machine tool. But it could be a big puller I suppose.

(quoted from post at 06:05:41 12/14/14) Where did you get them, and why do you have them?
My father-in-law had a bunch of old stuff before he passed, as my wife says "He who has the most stuff when they die wins." Poppa won!
He had an M IH, 2 small Oliver crawlers, an old belt type circle saw mill, the T-9 I have now among millions of other things. I found these stud tools and thought they may have went to the T-9 at the time.

I figured maybe you bought them, then forgot what they were! LOL

My mom saves everything, even if she doesn't know what it is, and actually -especially- if she doesn't know what it is, because she might find out what it is later, and then need it. It doesn't make sense to me sometimes, as it usually only works out once out of a thousand times. So, for every 1 object that gets placed properly, there are 999 others just collecting dust and taking up space.
