OK which section do I ask a Question about a Servis Shredder

:?: Sorry But this is my 1st post. I'm Pa Pitt. I'm and old farmer .. & lots of other stuff.
... But I have a Servis E60 Shredder .. Some places I've found it called a Rotary Chipper. But it's just a 3 point lift Shredder. It's been a good Shredder But I was using it last Saturday evening and the PTO shaft came off the pinion shaft of the gear box.
I can't not find any Information on the Internet .. I went to E-Bay to buy a Service manual for any tips. Nothing . I've been 3 nights looking for this info.
... I'd not used this Forum before but have bought from Yesterdays Tractor in the past.
.... BUT WORSE PART IS I couldn't figure out on here where to ask this question. So if this place won't do I'll ask it else where. Thanks Guys.

Ok that got one.See if it works again .
. No it didn't hurt the PTO. It just slid the yoke over the nut on the end of the pinion . There is a Nut about 1 inch don't remember. & a big flat Stop washer . The youke just pulled over the bignut.

.. My question is . Do I need to remove that U-Joint. out of that yoke.. too reinstall that big nut back onto the pinion.
... AND It has a big bushing at the end of the pinion .. But that Bushing is not tight on the pinion shaft. I'd say it had .0065 on both side of the ID measurement. OD FITS SNUG.
.. bUT IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE IT SPUN ANY.. It also has a 1/4 key stock to keep it all from spinning .
.... I need a picture of the Slip clutches and the nut washer & pinion.

Servis started out a subsidy of Austin Bridge Co. It was located on Singleton Blvd in Dallas. I remember picking up parts & equipment back in the 60's-80's there. The name was changed to Servis/Rhino then to just Rhino and moved to Seguin,Tx. Then it was bought up by the Alamo Group.

Now to your mower pto shaft the part that slide off should be the shear pin assembly hub. Slide it back on shaft and install a larger OD washer to hold it on. Check to be sure pto shaft telescopes easily.

.. YES THE PTO shaft is fine . slides in & out better than several others I have. & I've used this thing for about 3 years. But this time of usage was only about 20 minutes . I couldn't believe it came apart so easy. But I had it on a very slow ideal , Thank GOODNESS. I'll try & look at it in the daylight SATURDAY.
