Either Amish/ etc deal, or they priced those style tires and after picking themselves off the floor from the shock, came up with a cheaper option.

(Edit - I see rubber on the rear, so not a religious deal, strictly $$$$$ I guess.)

Actually, for as immobile as those rakes are (you won't haul them down the road behind a pickup for long, local on farm use only with those caster wheels!) I kinda like that, traction with the gaps, no flat no maintenance, I like it. Could weld a little rebar on for treads if more traction needed.

Probably can't find nor afford them if they did...I had a neighbor that wanted to give me one of those but the tires were full of mouse holes. I can't remember the size, but as I recall they were an odd size. It probably just slid the tires when they tried to use it..it at least needs some cleats welded to the tubing.
