Roadless Traction Ltd developed flexible track systems in WW1, initially for trucks. Full tracks were built in the 1930's to fit various makes of tractors.

The half track system was built in late 1940's to convert normal makes of tractors into half tracks; they could be converted back to wheeled tractors on farm.

Hi folks, the E27N was a local tractor to me with a Lincolnshire registration. Here in the UK all tractors had to have a safety cab on them from 1970 and MFs perfetic effort can be seen on the MF165. At that time I was selling IH 454, 574, and 674 tractors and we had a far better cab so I did very well selling them into a MF area. The IH tractor oppisite is a Doncaster built B634 with a 62hp BD281 diesel engine from 1965. The pictures were taken at the large vintage sale at Sutton Cambs by Cheffins the auctioneers. MJ
