LED Strobe Lights

Has anyone installed flashing LED strobe lights on their trucks or tractors? I thought about it on the plow truck, and just curious if it would be worth it or not.

In the winter they get covered with heavy snow and can't be seen well. They don't make any heat to melt snow off. That is the only down fall.

I have LED strobes mounted in the grill on the back of my motor grader as well as one on the roof of my utility tractor and roof of my pickup. They flash a lot brighter, use much less power, many flash patterns to choose from and they don't interfere with the AM stations on the radio like normal strobes do.

Lot more downfall than that. They flash so fast it is like a steady light with no flash interupting. And then they are way to bright they blind oncomming traffic at night. And if you are blinded by those lights how are you supposed to get by without having a wreck? I hate LED lights of any kind.

I work for a city and we're changing all trucks, tractors and equipment over to LED. Much brighter, no bulbs to replace. And on some you can change the flash pattern. We're even changing outside light to LED.

My yard truck at work has one. I don't drive it at night much, but when I do I don't even have to turn on the headlights it flashes so fast and bright. We have them on our forklifts as well. Couldn't look back without them blinding me, so we had them turned up. These are just the little single light flashing deals.
