Agco power fluid 821XL

Does anyone know if agco power fluid 821XL would be like Hytran or Hygard. I have hytran and hygard, would like to know which one to use in place of the agco fluid in a 8510 transmission, Thanks for any information.

The good Hyd oil at the auto parts store has all 3 on their label. Plus 4 or 5 more. Vic

I looked up what JD says and they state that HyGuard will work.

I have found that JDs HyGuard and IHs HyTran are the same type/grade of hydraulic oil.

Thanks for the link, I always thought hytran was a lighter grade. I have several Ih tractors I run hytran in, and the past year got a 4640 with a powershift, so I use hygard in that one. The hygard seems to get thicker in the winter, where the hytran seems to stay the same. The agco also has a powershift, but we use it in cold weather and also in the heat of the summer on the baler, so looks like hygard might be the better choice.

Hy guard is heavier vocosity but it works well with hy tran
