Have narrowed a trans temp light to be either a loose wire to warning light or a transister. The manual does not show location of transister. I would think it would be behind instrament panel. Is this correct?

Apparently hooking and unhooking the wire at the sender doesn't do anything?
I can't recall if those tractors had individual warning lights, or if they were in a "module". If individual, power to the light, a good sender, and an intact wire between the light and sender was all I remember. If module, that can be tested with a "suitcase" module (mostly for Gleaners) tester, hopefully at some nearby AC dealer.
