Was wondering if any of you folks have a history in and near the Watertown area going as far back as the 60's-70s.

my email is open thank you

I've been to H2O Town, but know nothing about it other than it's spread out and covers a lot of land area in relation to its population.

I got stuck at the airport in Watertown in the 70's for several hours waiting for a connection. I do believe that was the smallest airport terminal that I had ever been in.

Might have driven through town once or twice but just kept on driving; it was probably dark so didn't see much of the town anyway.

We played the Arrows in HS sports. Kicked their butts on a regular basis.
BiRedlin art museum there now.

What do you need to know? Grew up in that area. Casino Ballroom was the place on Sat. night usually. Had live music and a hall full of party goers. They still have races at Casino Speedway. Downtown was Duffy's Bar. Quadee Rubber was the big employer back then but they have since closed down.

I hung out in the Eagle tavern and Duffy's back in the early 70's. 72-74. I lived on Lake Kampeska.

Trying to contact a family there concerning a piece of machinery.

Trying not to put their name out there as I don't know them or if they are still around. I will respond to an email if you don't mind. They were farmers in the 60s-70- and maybe still are farming.
thank you

Got quite a few of us from that area! I've lived here all my life, born in 48, and worked in Watertown at a gas station in the late 60s before I started farming 11 miles away in 68.
